Job summary

St Joseph the Worker Catholic Primary School invites applications for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team and support pupils with additional needs. The role is part-time (30 hours per week, 46 weeks per year) and paid at Pay Band D, Scale Points 5-6, with a SEN allowance of £1,539 per annum pro rata.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, enthusiastic, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Suitable qualifications and commitment to supporting pupils.
• Experience in supporting pupils in small groups or 1:1.
• Able to manage sensory needs of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils with additional needs within a class team.
• Support pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to aid learning.
