Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary school settings. This role is for candidates with a recognised Level 2 TA, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification and prior UK school experience.

We are seeking patient, reliable and nurturing individuals who can work 1:1 and in small groups, support safeguarding, and help pupils develop confidence and independence across different year groups.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 2 TA, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification.
• Must have previous UK school-based experience.
• Experience within a primary school is essential.
• SENT experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding.
• Patient, reliable and nurturing approach.
• Confident supporting pupils individually and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils within the classroom.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Assisting with differentiated learning activities.
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.

• Delivering or assisting with interventions.
