Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary school settings in Manchester. The role requires a recognised Level 2 TA or equivalent and prior UK school experience.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with differentiated learning activities, support SEND and additional needs, and help children develop confidence and independence. The role offers long-term/permanent opportunities with dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 2 TA, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification.
• Must have previous UK school-based experience.
• Experience within a primary school is essential.
• SENT experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding.
• Patient, reliable and nurturing approach.
• Confident supporting pupils individually and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils within the classroom.
