Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for candidates who hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and have more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• More than 6 months' UK-based experience working within a school.
• Experience in a primary setting.
• Good understanding of classroom expectations and routines.
• Patient, reliable and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Assist with classroom learning across the primary curriculum.
• Support Maths, English, phonics and reading activities.
• Help pupils develop confidence and independence.
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Work closely with class teachers and wider support staff.
• Provide additional support to pupils who require it.
