Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary school settings. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with long-term and permanent pathways in various primary schools across the region.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Level 3 TA qualification, have UK school experience, and be confident in 1:1 and small-group support, safeguarding, and inclusion. SEND experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent).
• Must have previous UK school-based experience.
• Primary school experience is essential.
• SEND experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusion.
• Confident supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across the primary classroom.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Delivering interventions and targeted activities.
• Assisting with differentiated lessons.
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Helping pupils develop independence and confidence.
• Monitoring and recording pupil progress.
• Working closely with teachers and SENCOs.
• Supporting classroom routines and transitions.

• Primary school experience is essential
• SEND experience is highly desirable
