Job summary

Aspire People Lancashire is seeking an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across primary schools. The role focuses on providing 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with phonics, reading and numeracy, and helping pupils gain independence.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 TA qualification, have UK school experience, be confident supporting pupils with SEND, and bring a calm, patient, nurturing approach with strong behaviour management.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant qualification.
• Has at least 6 months' UK-based school experience.
• Previous experience supporting SEND is highly desirable.
• Confident working with primary-aged children.

Responsibilities

We are particularly interested in candidates who have a recognised Level 2 qualification alongside recent UK-based school experience and who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs.
