Job summary

Academics is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in Worksop to support students across EYFS to KS2. The role is temporary with school-day hours and requires a Cache/NVQ Level 2 TA qualification and an enhanced DBS certificate.

You will lead interventions, prepare teaching resources and work closely with the Class Teacher to support pupils, including those with special educational needs. Salary depends on experience and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Cache / NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Enhanced DBS certificate required prior to starting work.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning interventions for pupils.
• Adhere to school behaviour and safeguarding policies.
• Support children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Prepare resources and learning materials for the day.
• Co-operate with the Class Teacher and other staff.
• Support pupils with special educational needs.
• Log and report pupil progress.
