Job summary

Academics is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Rotherham on a temporary basis. You will report to the class teacher and support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering 1:1 and small-group assistance including SEN learners.

Safeguarding, inclusion, and keeping records of pupil progress are key parts of the role. A CACHE or NVQ Level 3 TA qualification and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold CACHE or NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the class teacher.
• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support, including children with SEN.
• Monitor and record pupil progress.
• Follow school behaviour, safeguarding and inclusion policies.
• Adapt confidently to different primary school settings across Rotherham.
