Job summary

Academics is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Worksop team on a temporary basis. The role involves assisting with interventions, supporting children across EYFS to KS2, and preparing learning resources under the guidance of the Class Teacher.

You will work within a school network in Worksop, with duties including safeguarding adherence and pupil progress logging. DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Cache / NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom interventions and small-group work.
• Adhere to behaviour and safeguarding policies.
• Support children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Prepare resources and learning materials for daily lessons.
• Co-operate with the Class Teacher and SEND support.
• Log and report pupil progress.
