Job summary

Academics is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Worksop team on a temporary basis. The role involves assisting with interventions, supporting children across EYFS to KS2, and preparing learning resources under the guidance of the Class Teacher.

You will work within a school network in Worksop, with duties including safeguarding adherence and pupil progress logging. DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom interventions and small-group work.

Your working day as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in Worksop will consist of:

• Leading interventions
• Adhering to behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Preparing resources and learning materials for the day
• Co-operating with the Class Teacher
• Working closely with children with special educational needs
• Logging and reporting pupil progress

The working hours for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant will typically be between 8.30am to 3.30pm.

*All applicants must hold a Cache / NVQ Level 2 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning or the equivalent alongside required right to work documents. An enhanced DBS certificate is also required prior to commencing work.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
