Job summary

Northstowe Secondary College is seeking an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the SEND team. You will deliver targeted literacy and/or numeracy interventions with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, helping pupils make rapid progress and bridging gaps.

Working across the secondary school, you will support curriculum lessons, collaborate with teachers, and uphold high expectations to inspire and challenge learners.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering targeted literacy and/or numeracy interventions.
• Ability to support small groups or individual students effectively.
• Experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted literacy and numeracy interventions under SENDCO guidance.
• Support students across a range of curriculum lessons.
• Collaborate with teachers to maximise pupil progress.
