Job summary

Platform Housing Group is recruiting a Lettings Officer for our busy Lettings team. This home-based role aims to deliver a positive journey for customers during a stressful time, helping us become the landlord of choice and sustain communities.

You will assess applicants, balance customer service with business needs to reduce empty homes and protect rental income, and travel monthly to Worcester or Birmingham offices for meetings. DBS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Background in social housing or lettings preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Able to work collaboratively to meet KPI targets.
• Customer-focused, positive mindset with strong organisation.
• DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Balance customer support with business needs to minimise empty homes and protect rental income.
• Assess applicants' circumstances and suitability to ensure successful tenancies.
• Travel to Worcester or Birmingham offices for monthly meetings; occasional in-office work during induction.
