Job summary

haart Estate Agents in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Lettings Negotiator to join our team. The role offers a basic salary between £16,000 and £18,000, with uncapped commission and an on-target earnings potential over £30,000 per year.

You will receive strong training and clear opportunities to progress within the company. You will liaise with prospective tenants, arrange viewings, negotiate offers, and manage relationships with landlords and tenants.

Qualifications

• Must have Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with MS Office/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with prospective tenants and arrange property viewings.
• Negotiate offers and agree new tenancies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Market properties to tenants using various marketing methods.
• Focus on generating new and repeat business.
• Canvass the local area to grow pipeline.

A day in the life of a Lettings Negotiator

• Liaising with prospective tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
• Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
• Marketing properties to tenants utilizing various marketing skills
• A focus on generating new and repeat business
• Canvassing the local area
• Door knocking and leaflet dropping
• Ensuring properties adhere to health and safety standards

Essential Skills Of a Lettings Negotiator

• Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
• Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
• A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Good telephone manner
• Strong IT skills (Basic Microsoft Packages)
• Attention to detail
• Ideally, an understanding of current legislation related to Residential Lettings
