Job summary

Spicerhaart Group Ltd. in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Lettings Negotiator. You will liaise with prospective tenants, arrange viewings and negotiate tenancies, while building strong landlord/tenant relationships.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required for a manual vehicle.
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Team-oriented with initiative and reliability.
• Good telephone manner and IT literacy (basic MS Office).
• Understanding of residential lettings legislation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with prospective tenants and arrange property viewings.
• Negotiate offers and agree new tenancies with landlords.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Market properties to tenants using various channels.
• Generate new and repeat business; canvassing and local area outreach.
• Ensure properties meet health and safety standards.

A day in the life of a Lettings Negotiator

• Liaising with prospective tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs
• Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
• Marketing properties to tenants utilizing various marketing skills
• A focus on generating new and repeat business
• Canvassing the local area
• Door knocking and leaflet dropping
• Ensuring properties adhere to health and safety standards

Essential Skills of a Lettings Negotiator

• Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
• Works well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
• A reputation for delivering outstanding customer service

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must have access to your own vehicle
• Before starting with us, you will need to provide proof of business insurance for your vehicle.
• Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
• We’ll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of: Passport/Birth Certificate
