Lending Solutions Business Development Manager

Job summary

Aimeewillow is seeking an experienced Business Development professional with a background in working capital solutions to help grow our Lending Book in line with growth plans. You will originate new customer relationships, close leads, and maintain a robust pipeline ensuring credit quality and competitive pricing.

In this role you will develop a network of clients and funders, work closely with the portfolio team, and manage onboarding to deliver smooth, compliant transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in originating lending deals and building long-term relationships.
• Background in working capital solutions with credit aware mindset.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end transaction processes and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Originate new customer relationships for core lending products, with or without KBIs.
• Close leads generated by the business and existing KBIs.
• Develop and maintain a personal network of KBIs and professional contacts.
• Extend business with existing customers in partnership with the portfolio team.
• Meet origination targets while maintaining credit quality and pricing.
• Support portfolio customers needing additional or follow-on funding.
• Ensure efficient onboarding and transaction control to convert prospects to customers.
• Prepare high-quality credit papers for submission to Credit Committee.
• Liaise with external funders to perfect security.
• Promote the company in the local business community and attend events.
• Assess business quality with checks such as balance sheets, management accounts, searches.
