Job summary

Serco Leisure is seeking a Leisure Operations Manager to lead a busy Birmingham facility, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and driving commercial growth and high-quality service. You will work with the General Manager to meet targets while maintaining strong customer focus.

You will foster a robust health and safety culture, supervise Duty Manager teams, analyse performance data, and build lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders to support ongoing improvement and community

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or a similar operational leadership role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate and develop teams.
• Proactive approach to health and safety with a good understanding of compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the facility, ensuring it is safe, warm, friendly and welcoming for all users
• Support the General Manager in delivering commercial growth, performance targets and operational efficiency
• Build and maintain a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation and organisational policies
• Lead, motivate and develop Duty Manager teams, creating headroom for people to grow and achieve their potential
• Use data and key performance indicators to monitor performance, identify opportunities and create impactful solutions
• Develop strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and the wider community to support service excellence and future growth
