Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Council’s Wymondham Leisure Centre is seeking a proactive Team Leader to supervise the centre, lead an operational team, and ensure first-class customer service across facilities, including pools, gym, studios, and spa.

You will be the keyholder, support Centre Managers, and work on a rota including early, day and late shifts. RLSS/NPLQ and First Aid are required or achievable within two months.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team supervision skills essential.
• Proven customer service experience in leisure or similar environment.
• Lifeguard and first aid qualifications are mandatory or expected to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Lead an operational team to deliver high-quality service across the centre.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the building, users and staffing.
• Support Centre Managers and assist with lifeguarding when required.
