Job summary

High Life Highland is seeking a full-time swimming and leisure supervisor to ensure safe operation of the centre and deliver enjoyable programmes. You will supervise pool and land-based activities, provide lifeguard cover, and respond to emergencies with appropriate first aid when required.

The role includes delivering inductions, promoting memberships, and maintaining equipment and safety standards in alignment with HLH policies. A PVG check is required.

Qualifications

• PVG check is required for this post.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety and customer care.
• Effective team player with flexibility to support across the Leisure team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe supervision of facilities and health and safety for all users.
• Provide effective, preventative lifeguarding during pool sessions and respond to incidents.
• Carry out emergency action plans and water rescues as trained, with first aid where needed.
• Maintain training to current HLH standards and participate in required courses.
• Organise and lead activities/classes; promote High Life Memberships and provide high level customer care.
