Job summary

High Life Highland is seeking a part-time Leisure Supervisor to lead the leisure staff, deliver high standards of customer care, and ensure safety across the facility.

You will plan rotas, supervise staff, monitor cleanliness, provide first aid and inductions, and maintain safe procedures, reporting issues to the Facilities Manager as required. This role includes evenings and weekends and a PVG check is required.

Qualifications

• PVG check is required.
• Discretion for supervisory duties.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day supervision of the leisure staff.
• Plan the staff rota in line with the staffing schedule and arrange cover for absences.
• Perform supervisory duties relating to staff recruitment, induction, training and discipline.
• Monitor the cleanliness of facilities and equipment and carry out cleaning duties when required.
• Deliver fitness inductions where required.
• Ensure customer care standards are upheld and facilities are provided to meet user needs.
• Carry out health and safety checks and report significant risks to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist in organisation and promotion of activity programmes.
