Places for People is seeking a Duty Manager for our leisure centre to lead a large team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll recruit, train and motivate staff, handle member inquiries, and drive membership growth, while upholding high service standards.

The role requires a flexible approach with shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays. You’ll be a critical part of Places Leisure, delivering safe, welcoming environments and supporting community health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification is essential.
• Experience supervising staff in a leisure facility.
• Strong customer-service and leadership skills.

• Manage, recruit and train staff to run daily operations.
