Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a dedicated Duty Manager for our Places Leisure centres. You will manage, recruit and train staff, address customer concerns, and drive up memberships while preparing reports for meetings.

You will lead a team and ensure the centre runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Flexibility is required to work evenings, weekends and public holidays; you will be a registered first aider with NPLQ qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory/management within a leisure facility.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• First aid experience is highly desirable for this role.
• Holding an NPLQ qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage, recruit and train staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Deal with customer concerns and drive up centre memberships.
• Prepare reports for meetings and attend key reviews.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality services and a safe environment.
• Represent Places Leisure and ensure efficient centre running.
