Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to lead a large team at our leisure centre. You will recruit, train and support staff, handle customer concerns and drive membership growth, while ensuring efficient daily operations.

The role requires leadership, exceptional customer service, and an NPLQ qualification; first aid experience is a plus. Shifts include evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising/mentoring staff in a leisure facility.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Registered first aider and relevant first-aid experience.
• NPLQ qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage, recruit and train staff to ensure smooth operation of the centre.
• Address and resolve customer concerns and feedback.
• Drive membership growth and attendance.
• Prepare reports and attend meetings.
