Job summary

Everybody Health & Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at Poynton Leisure Centre. You will lead a shift, ensure a safe, welcoming environment, manage bookings and finances, and uphold centre procedures with a focus on customer care and incident response.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, plus a proactive approach to health and safety and service standards. DBS checks may be part of the process.

• Experience in a customer-facing or operational role.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure services run efficiently.
• Leading the team on shift and supporting a positive, customer-focused environment.
• Taking responsibility for health and safety, customer care, and incident management.
• Managing bookings, supporting financial processes, and ensuring centre procedures compliance.
• Contributing to external accreditations such as Quest and Investors in People.
• Completing site-specific checks and maintaining high operational standards.
