Job summary

Freedom Leisure is recruiting a Duty Manager to lead a team at a busy leisure centre. You’ll oversee daily operations, deliver excellent customer service, and help drive budgetary performance. The role offers training, career progression, and a supportive work environment.

Working 37 hours per week on a rota basis, you’ll manage staff, organise events, and contribute to community wellbeing. A DBS check is likely, and RLSS pool qualification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior experience working in a Duty Management or similar role
• Experience of problem solving, customer service and staff management
• RLSS National pool qualification is desirable and training can be provided
• DBS check may be required

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and develop and motivate a team of operational staff
• Be responsible for the day to day duty management and running of the leisure centre to the highest standard
• Contribute to and understand the business and budgetary performance of the centre
• Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team
• Demonstrate passion for the industry and commit to ongoing professional development
