Job summary

Freedom Leisure seeks a Duty Manager to lead a team and ensure the highest standard of service across our leisure centre. You will supervise daily operations, manage staff, and help deliver a welcoming, safe, and clean facility for customers.

We offer training, development opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 37-hour week on a rota basis. Closing date 30 October 2026; salary up to £26,236 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience in Duty Management or similar role.
• Experience with problem solving, customer service and staff management.
• Willingness to work flexibly with autonomy and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and develop a team of operational staff.
• Oversee day-to-day duty management and running of the centre.
• Contribute to and understand the centre's budget and performance.
• Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team.
• Show flexibility and autonomous decision making.
• Provide excellent customer service.
