Job summary

Crerar Hotels is hiring a Leisure Attendant to help guests enjoy our pools, gym and leisure areas across our Scottish hotels and Lake District locations.

You will be responsible for safety, comfort and cleanliness with a focus on guest service, teamwork and initiative. Training is provided, and flexibility with hours including weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Swimming skills required to pass a swimming test.
• Relevant experience is preferred, training will be provided.
• Flexibility with working hours, including weekends.
• Good communication, punctuality and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of guests in the gym, pool and leisure areas.
• Prepare the leisure club each morning.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow all policies and procedures; may assist as a first aider.

A strong commitment to customer service is essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team while taking the initiative when needed. Your duties will include preparing the leisure club each morning, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. Depending on your qualifications, you may also assist as a first aider. Strong swimming skills are required to pass a swimming test, and while relevant experience is preferred, we are happy to train the right person. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends, along with good communication skills, punctuality, and a positive attitude, will help you thrive in this role.
