Our client is a leading Water Hygiene / Legionella company with a strong presence across the North of England. They are now looking to recruit a hardworking and committed Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer. You will be working on Commercial, Industrial and Healthcare site bases carrying out Legionella Risk Assessment and various L8 Compliance duties, ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines alongside liaising with clients in a professional manner providing excellent technical advice and support.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Holding City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment is essential to the role.
• Experience working in a risk assessment / water hygiene role for a reputable company would be beneficial.
• Excellent working knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Confident in updating onsite logbooks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to organise workload efficiently.

The Role:

• Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.
• Carrying out work using schematic drawings, alongside producing schematic drawings for clients.
• Working on both hot and cold‑water systems, carrying out cleans and disinfections.
• Ensuring onsite logbooks are up to date and accurate.
• Carrying out water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• TMV and failsafe servicing.
• Showerhead descales and disinfections.
• Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
• Liaising with clients, providing advice and support based on RA findings.
