Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services, part of Mitie, invites applications for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our safety-focused team in the UK. You will perform risk assessments, capture data digitally, and provide actionable compliance recommendations.

Candidates should hold City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification and demonstrate knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering Legionella risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and related guidance.
• Proficient IT literacy and digital reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to high professional standards.
• Use digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build relationships with clients through expert service.
• Support operational delivery to meet contractual commitments.
• Conduct assessments in line with ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance.
• Promote a culture of safety and operational excellence.
