Marlowe Environmental Services, part of Mitie, is seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join our environmental team in the UK. You will deliver legionella risk assessments across diverse client sites, using digital tools to capture data and produce compliant reports.

We value detailed, professional work, strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and related standards, and a full UK driving licence. Training and progression opportunities are provided within a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification.
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1, HTM 04-01.
• Excellent IT literacy, including digital reporting systems.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to the highest professional standards.
• Use digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build strong relationships with clients through expert service.
• Support operational delivery to ensure contractual and compliance commitments are met.
• Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance.
