Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services (Part of Mitie) seeks a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join the Salisbury team. You will deliver Legionella risk assessments across client environments, ensuring high standards and robust data reporting using digital tools.

Applicants should hold City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification, have proven assessment experience, and possess strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments within water treatment or water hygiene.
• Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01.
• Excellent IT literacy and experience with digital reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to the highest professional standards.
• Use digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build strong client relationships through expert service.
• Support operational delivery to meet contractual and compliance commitments.
• Conduct assessments in line with ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance.
