Job summary

Marlowe Environmental Services, part of Mitie, is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their Salisbury team. The role focuses on delivering high-standard risk assessments and compliance services across client environments.

You will use digital reporting tools, produce schematic drawings, and contribute to risk reduction and client relationships, with structured training and clear progression. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments in water hygiene.
• Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to the highest professional standards.
• Use industry leading digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data efficiently.
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate compliance records through delivery excellence.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction.
• Build strong relationships with clients through professional, expert service.
• Support operational delivery to ensure contractual and compliance commitments are consistently achieved.
• Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance.
• Supporting a culture of safety, accountability and operational excellence throughout the business.
