Marlowe Environmental Services, part of Mitie, is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join the Salisbury-based team. You will deliver risk assessments and support compliance across varied client environments.

The role emphasizes high standards, use of digital reporting tools, and clear recommendations to reduce risk. A City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent.
• Experience conducting legionella risk assessments in water treatment or water hygiene.
• Strong compliance focus with attention to detail.
• Familiar with ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01.
• Proficient IT literacy and digital reporting.
• Full UK driving licence with ≤6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality Legionella risk assessments to the highest professional standards
• Use industry leading digital tools to capture, analyse, and report data
• Produce schematic drawings and maintain accurate records
• Provide clear, practical recommendations to support compliance and risk reduction
• Build relationships with clients through professional service
• Support operational delivery to meet contractual and compliance commitments
• Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01
• Promote safety, accountability and operational excellence
