A valuable opportunity has arisen within a nationally recognised water company known for providing a range of specialist water hygiene and legionella services to clients across the UK. This company is now recruiting for an experienced and committed Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Llandudno area. The successful candidate will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines as well as routine temperature testing and water sampling. Applications from Gogarth, Llanrhos, Glanwydden, Penrhyn Bay and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Attend relevant Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds or alternatively attended internal training courses.
  • Extensive experience working within this role – carrying out Legionella risk assessments and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office package.
Key duties to include:
  • Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
  • Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents.
  • Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
  • Undertaking monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
  • Carrying out surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
  • Collating and producing accurate reports.
  • Building a strong working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.

Overall, the successful candidate will demonstrate commitment to their work and the ability to work independently as well as part of an established team. Candidates must be prepared to travel as per the clients requirements.
