We are recruiting in the Midlands for a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant to cover a range of commercial, public sector and local authority client sites. You will join a leading name within the Legionella industry with a nationwide presence and an excellent reputation. Candidates must be open to travel as company requirements change.

The role involves conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold and process water systems. Salaries and benefits are competitive and include overtime, training and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant
• Hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Hands‑on plumbing / water hygiene experience is advantageous
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Professional and hardworking attitude

Responsibilities

• Undertake Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold, cooling tower and closed systems
• Produce detailed risk assessment reports
• Advise clients on identified risks, recommended works and required ongoing compliance
• Conduct ad‑hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Adhere to set deadlines and personal targets
• Support and train new risk assessors
• Represent the company in a professional manner
