Job summary

Future Select Recruitment in the North East of England is seeking a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to cover commercial and public sector sites across the region. The role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently on site, with experience in domestic hot and cold water systems.

The successful candidate will produce detailed risk assessment reports, advise on remedial works, and train junior risk assessors.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
• City and Guilds WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing required.
• Strong technical knowledge including HSG 274 and ACOP L8.
• Able to travel as required by client site locations.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems.

Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £38k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a multi-disciplined Compliance / Environmental outfit. They are recruiting for a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to cover commercial and public sector sites across the North East of England. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and will be able to work independently on site. As a minimum, candidates will be confident with domestic hot and cold water systems, it would be a bonus to hold experience with process water systems. Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
• Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Robust technical knowledge, including HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Able to travel in line with company needsCompleting regular service reports and experience with logbooks
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Performing thorough legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Evaluating overall system performance and safety
• Making appropriate recommendations for remedial works
• Producing detailed technical risk assessment reports
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical queries and providing general customer support
• Fostering strong relationships with clients
• Training new Risk Assessors
• Working to agreed personal targets
