Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor for Milton Keynes to join a long-standing water hygiene business. The role involves carrying out risk assessments across commercial and residential sites, with a strong focus on ACOP L8 and HSG274 compliance, reporting, and client liaison.

In addition to a comprehensive role with genuine career progression, you will benefit from a company van, fuel card and a personal use allowance, along with 20 days holiday plus bank

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments.
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Comfortable working across a range of hot and cold water systems.
• Well organised, self-sufficient, and confident managing your own patch.
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential sites, in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Survey hot and cold water systems and recommend fixes for any risks identified.
• Write up clear, professional reports, including schematic drawings where needed.
• Manage your own workload and diary, liaise directly with clients on-site.
• Occasionally perform water hygiene tasks such as temperature checks, sampling and tank inspections
