Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is assisting a national player within the Water Hygiene/Legionella sector to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor. You will cover commercial and public sector premises across the North West, including Bolton and surrounding towns.

Applicants must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing. Hands-on water hygiene or plumbing experience is preferred. Training and benefits are provided to support professional development.

Qualifications

• Proven track record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
• Worked within a well-established outfit.
• Qualified with City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing.
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Hardworking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems.
• Identifying required remedial works and compliance risks.
• Producing detailed technical reports and schematic drawings.
• Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Showerhead descales.
• TMV servicing.
• Providing updates and technical advice directly to clients.
• Working to agreed deadlines.
• Travelling as per client needs.

Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: 27k - 40k + Training & Benefits

A national player within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. You will be covering commercial and public sector premises along the M62 corridor and into the North West of England. Applicants must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing, and will ideally hold some hands-on engineering experience (i.e. water hygiene and / or plumbing).
