Job summary

Penguin Recruitment are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join a well-regarded water hygiene team in Oxfordshire. The role offers a salary of £34,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, plus a company van and fuel card.

You will carry out Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential sites, report findings clearly, and manage your own workload while liaising with clients on-site. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274
• Comfortable working across hot and cold water systems
• Well organised, self-sufficient, and confident managing your own patch
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Legionella risk assessments across commercial and residential sites, in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274
• Surveying hot and cold water systems and recommending fixes for any risks identified
• Writing up clear, professional reports, including schematic drawings where needed
• Managing your own workload and diary, liaising directly with clients on-site
• Picking up occasional water hygiene tasks such as temperature checks, sampling, and tank inspections
