Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to travel across the South East of England, performing risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems and reporting findings to clients in commercial, healthcare and local authority premises.

Applicants should hold the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing and be familiar with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines; experience with cooling towers is advantageous.

Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Croydon, Greater London

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company growth, our client is looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their established team. You will be travelling across the South East of England, servicing new and existing client contracts, including commercial, healthcare and local authority premises. As a minimum, you will have experience with domestic hot and cold water systems, but it would be advantageous to also understand cooling towers and process systems. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven track record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
• It is essential to hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• It would be advantageous to have experience with process water systems (i.e. cooling towers)
• Able to articulate technical matters
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Highlighting any found risks and making appropriate recommendations for works
• Producing bespoke technical reports
• Creating detailed schematic drawings
• Making contact with clients to provide technical advice and support
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring when required
• Fostering strong relationships with clients
