Summary

We are currently looking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor / Environmental Services Consultant to manage an existing account base within the Southwest of the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments to comply with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and further relevant documents across a range of commercial and industrial properties
  • Produce all reports accurately and to a high standard, with clear recommendations for corrective actions and control measures.
  • Understand technical guidance and documentation
  • Production of schematics
  • Be flexible in terms of travel with potential stayaways across the UK
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately and effectively
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work to stringent turnaround times of reports
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Required Skills / Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Water Hygiene and a minimum of one year in a role‑specific position
  • Relevant Legionella risk assessment qualification City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently whilst also being a team player
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
  • Full UK driving licence
Working for us means

The salary is between £28,000 & £36,000 per year, depending on your professional experience.

Company car or generous car allowance package

Overtime – 1.5x

Holidays – 25 days plus bank holidays; buy and sell scheme available

Probationary Period – 6 months.

Pension – Can join immediately or auto‑enrolled after 3 months (Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice).

Eligible to join Private Healthcare.

Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4× basic salary) upon commencement of employment.

Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
