Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Canterbury is seeking a Senior Legionella Risk Assessor to cover councils across Kent. The role focuses on site assessments, reporting and ensuring compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG274.

You will work locally, with a salary of £40,000–£45,000, a company van, fuel card, and 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays. A full UK driving licence and DBS are required.

This is a local patch with no overnight travel; you’ll be home each night and use a company phone and laptop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years carrying out Legionella risk assessments.
• Solid understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Full UK driving licence and DBS are required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing council sites around Canterbury and across Kent.
• Visiting schools and commercial buildings to perform risk assessments.
• Inspecting hot and cold water systems and writing up reports.
• Drawing schematics and advising on remedial works to ACOP L8/HSG274.
