We are working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland’s leading commercial law firms to recruit a skilled and motivated Legal Secretary to join their high-performing commercial litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and highly respected legal practice, known for its exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.

The Role

As a legal secretary within the commercial litigation department, you will provide dedicated administrative and secretarial support to a team of litigation solicitors.

Your duties will be integral to the smooth and efficient operation of the team and will include:

  • Preparation of court bundles, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Diary management and coordination of meetings and court dates
  • Digital dictation and document production
  • Filing, photocopying, and general document management
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and court offices
  • Assisting with legal billing and file management in line with compliance procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation or a commercial legal environment
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy and fast-paced team
