Job Title: Legal Secretary Conveyancing

Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire
Salary: GBP26,000 GBP28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm (flexibility available)
Holidays: 22 days annual leave + bank holidays + office closure over Christmas (rising with service)

About the Conveyancing Legal Secretary Role:
A respected law firm in Shipley is looking to appoint a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their growing residential conveyancing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some previous experience in conveyancing who enjoys a structured support role.

Key Responsibilities of the Conveyancing Legal Secretary:

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to conveyancers
  • Preparing standard documents and correspondence
  • Managing searches, Land Registry applications, and post-completion matters
  • Handling incoming calls and client queries professionally
  • Maintaining and updating case management systems
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary in residential conveyancing
  • Good working knowledge of conveyancing processes and documentation
  • Ability to manage workload independently and efficiently
  • A team-player attitude with a professional and positive approach
  • A desire to remain in a secretarial role rather than progressing into fee-earning in the near future
