Job Description:

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary for a busy Commercial Property Department.

The role involves providing typing support to the team, with duties progressing to assist with all stages of commercial transactions, from initial enquiry to completion.

Ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent secretarial, administrative, and IT skills, and be comfortable working in a largely paperless environment.
  • Have experience as a Legal Secretary within a property team, specifically with commercial property transactions.
  • Be self-motivated, able to work independently, and as part of a team.

Possess excellent client care and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Have an excellent telephone manner and effective communication skills across all mediums.
  • Be capable of working efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Assist in ensuring files comply with internal procedures, Lexcel accreditation standards, and support general secretarial duties.
