Job description

Job Title: Legal Receptionist

Salary: to £45,000+ depending on experience (Negotiable)

Hours: 9am - 5.30pm

Location: Central London

We are currently working for an American law firm seeking a front of house receptionist to deliver award-winning customer service to clients and provide secretarial, clerical, and administrative support. This is a standalone role, ideal for a legal receptionist looking to take on additional administrative and basic secretarial tasks.

Duties Include:
  1. Meeting and greeting visitors and internal stakeholders
  2. Answering, screening, and directing phone calls
  3. Setting up meeting rooms
  4. Liaising with contractors and vendors
  5. Filing and maintaining records
  6. Managing the office calendar
  7. Assisting with administrative and overflow secretarial work
  8. Booking taxis and couriers
  9. Setting up conference calls and video meetings
  10. Basic accounts work
  11. Scheduling meetings

Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as there will be extensive liaison with international offices, high-profile clients, and leading lawyers. Candidates should have at least 12 months' experience as a receptionist, preferably within a law firm, though experience in other corporate or global environments will also be considered.
