Job summary

Switalskis Group seeks an experienced IT Technician to join their York office. You will support staff with IT issues, manage incidents, and assist with server, printer, and VOIP-related tasks.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, organisation and communication, and the ability to work independently or with the IT team. Experience with Windows 7–10, Windows Server 2012R2/2016, MS 365, and IT security is essential.

• Experience delivering 1st line IT support to staff in a professional environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st Line technical support for staff and Directors (hardware/software) face-to-face or over the phone.
• Take ownership of incidents to ensure timely resolution and proper escalation.
• Provide telecoms support for VOIP and mobile devices.
• Liaise with third party providers for server, printers, and phone system support.
• Assist with user/group/security policy administration; support remote workers.
• Support digital dictation system and case management software.
• Work as part of a team to ensure IT moves logged and audits correct.
• Monitor service and network performance to ensure continuity.
