Job summary

Quickline is seeking an IT Technician to provide first-line IT support across our Willerby office in Hull, with regular travel to other Quickline sites. You will diagnose and resolve common device, account, application and connectivity issues, build and configure laptops and desktops, and support joiners, movers and leavers while keeping asset records up to date.

You’ll work closely with the Service Desk and Engineering teams, have a genuine interest in IT, and be able to communicate clearly

Qualifications

• You have a genuine interest in IT and want to build a career in technical support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 is desirable.
• Clear communication and a helpful approach to support both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• A calm, methodical mindset helps you troubleshoot issues and manage a busy workload.
• Organised, security-conscious and able to travel regularly between Quickline sites.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests, supporting colleagues across Quickline.
• Diagnose and resolve common device, account, application and connectivity issues.
• Build, configure and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other equipment.
• Support joiners, movers and leavers, while maintaining accurate asset and stock records.
• Develop your technical knowledge by working alongside the Service Desk, SPMC and wider Engineering teams.
