Job summary

Tieva is hiring an IT Operations 2nd Line Engineer to provide hands-on technical support and systems administration from our Leeds site. You will own escalated incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and help maintain the stability, security, and effective operation of our IT estate.

Key responsibilities include administering Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, endpoints, telephony, backup, and related business systems.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 2nd line IT support and systems administration.
• Experience in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy and Intune.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line technical support and system administration across Microsoft 365, endpoints, identity and core business platforms.
• Take ownership of escalated incidents and service requests to resolution.
• Administer and support core IT platforms including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, endpoint protection, telephony, backup.
• Investigate and resolve complex user, device, application, identity, connectivity and access issues.
• Perform system administration tasks including user/access management, policy configuration and software deployment.
• Monitor health, performance and security of IT systems and drive improvements.
• Support implementation and operation of security controls aligned to ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and document corrective actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
• Coordinate with 1st line and wider IT teams to ensure service continuity.
