The Department of Health Professions is a dynamic hub within the Faculty of Health and Education, with roots dating back to the Manchester School of Physiotherapy. We collaborate extensively with external partners across the Northwest and maintain strong links with social, primary care, private, and voluntary sectors.
The department delivers Physiotherapy programs at undergraduate, pre-registration master's, and postgraduate levels.
This role involves delivering high-quality teaching, supporting students, assessing theory and practice, and other related duties. Internal mentorship and staff development will support your success.
This position is on the Education, Practice and Citizenship (EPC) pathway; candidates with a strong research profile may be considered for the Research, Education and Citizenship (REC) pathway.
We seek enthusiastic clinicians with HCPC registration as Chartered Physiotherapists, experienced in neurology and cardiorespiratory practice. Candidates should hold a first degree and a master's or be progressing towards one. Extensive clinical experience without a master's may be considered if willing to undertake postgraduate study.
Interviews will be held in June 2025 at the Brooks Building, Birley Campus, M15 6GX.
