The Manchester Institute of Education is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Lecturer in English Education to work on its highly rated Secondary PGCE course. The post holder will contribute to Secondary English provision, the wider PGCE/ITE programmes, and undertake course leadership, management, and administrative duties.
The successful candidate will also contribute to Masters and Doctoral supervision and engage with MIE’s research culture. Flexibility and willingness to travel are required.
Post holders must undergo checks to confirm they are not barred from working with children or vulnerable adults, are not subject to sanctions, and are not under investigation for relevant matters.
This role can be filled by a single applicant or split into two posts (e.g., 0.4 FTE and 0.5 FTE).
