Job Overview

The Manchester Institute of Education is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Lecturer in English Education to work on its highly rated Secondary PGCE course. The post holder will contribute to Secondary English provision, the wider PGCE/ITE programmes, and undertake course leadership, management, and administrative duties.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Recent and relevant experience of Initial Teacher Education, in higher education and/or the Secondary education sector.
  • Master’s degree is required; a PhD/EdD or near completion is desirable.
Additional Contributions

The successful candidate will also contribute to Masters and Doctoral supervision and engage with MIE’s research culture. Flexibility and willingness to travel are required.

Job Details
